Florence Woodfield Morais is a curator and consultant with 12 years professional experience in the art world. Having begun in the contemporary art market as a curator and art writer both in London and Rio de Janeiro, she began working for Christie’s London in 2013. Having spent 6 years working with Impressionist and Modern Art, both at Christie’s and later at Stern Pissarro Gallery in St James’, London, she returned to contemporary art in 2021 when she was appointed Curator (and subsequently Associate Director) of the Barry Kamen Estate. She also acts as the UK representative of the Brazilian artist Narcelio Grud and is Head of Sales for contemporary gallery postROOM.

I am pleased to be acting as Head of Sales at postROOM Gallery, London. Founded in 2003 under the direction of Sandie Macrae, postROOM has occupied a unique position in the UK art scene, defined by Sandie’s curatorial understanding and committed mentorship of young artists.

Narcélio Grud

Narcélio Grud is an artist currently living and working in Fortaleza (Ceará), Brazil. Having made many seminal and groundbreaking contributions to both urban art and public installation art since the early 2000’s, his studio practise since 2018 focuses on sculpture, objects and works on paper that incorporate kinetic, sonic and interactive elements.

Shelagh Wakely

Shelagh Wakely took part in the British Sculpture Movement of the 1980s, with fellow artists Richard Deacon, Shirazeh Houshiary, Barry Flanagan and Anish Kapoor, amongst others. With a prolific career spanning more than four decades, Wakely produced an impressive body of work comprising sculpture, drawings, prints and video.
